"When the night falls...

...you wonder if you shouldn't find someplace to run and hide." When The Rain Comes by Third Day.

مساء الخير! كيف الحال؟
As you can see, I've been working on my Arabic--I have class in the morning, so I was finishing up my homework--and I ended up spending almost all day on it. I woke up this morning feeling headachy, and so I didn't go to church. I did my Bible study and my homework and laundry and such...and it was just One Of Those Days.
Have you ever had One Of Those Days? It's the kind of day, like Charlene says in Designing Women, when you could eat an entire pie in one sitting. (Don't act like you've never done that.) I did not eat an entire pie, as it happens. I only ate about a quarter--that's all that was left.
It might also be known as one of those days when you want cheese, and cheese-related things...cheese on everything. (Now, I know that's not just me.) I mostly just want to sleep or be creative, but I'm not really energetic-feeling enough to be creative, so I end up just snoozing and studying and maybe working for an hour or two to finish up loose ends.
To top it all off (probably the cause of my headache) it rained. All day. All weekend, really, if you want to know the truth.
I do like rain--it's so soothing and special (or it USED to be, back when I lived in a desert). But I am finding it somewhat tiresome since it brings with it a pounding noggin, specially delivered to me. Oh well, at least my little Irony is in a cuddly mood, and my Arabic is going smoothly.
Speaking of, thank you to everyone who prayed and aided in finding a solution for my Arabic dilemma. I needed one more class to fulfill my credit requirement and we had just an awful time finding anything here that would suffice. Finally we found out about a test-out option, and a very nice professor from Bowling Green is willing to Skype-tutor me to get me ready for the test. I am loving it--I feel like I genuinely am getting a grip on the language for the first time. He is quite encouraging but not easy--and I am reading more smoothly and understanding more fluently than I ever have before. الحمد لله!

That's about it for now.
Love!
