"You don't have to be alone...

...you don't have to be on your own." A Message, by Coldplay

Sorry it's been so long! I started that job I told ya'll about, and what with that, and getting new furniture (well, gifted furniture) from Ryan's great-aunt, and all the accompanying arrangements...I haven't had a moment.

Gem, Song, and I have decided to go hard-core into this workout program Gem has. It's six weeks long and *gasp* it's six weeks till Ryan and Gem's husband graduate. We're going to be so fit! :P No, but seriously, I thought I'd be so sore today from the exercises last night, but I think it actually loosened me up from moving furniture! Though I am having trouble moving every time I realize I've been sitting in one position for more than a few minutes...

In other news, one of my sisters-in-law has started a website to encourage people with type-1 diabetes, and to give them a forum for communication. She pointed out to me that the picture on the "contacts" headbar is one of my camel pictures from Morocco!

Also, besides getting furniture this weekend, Ryan and I went to Louisville and met some of my very dear friends. I grew up with Bennigan, and his lovely wife completely won my heart when we discovered, among other things, a mutual passion for Remington Steele. It was SO good to see them!

This lion was sitting in the park in old-town Louisville. Very attractive.
Ryan saying, "Why is this here, randomly at the end of this walkway?" and Bennigan explaining that this is how you hide a body--by building a little planter over it.
Ryan insisted I get a picture of the squirrel that was feeding itself. It looked much less rabid in real life.
Pretending to be behind bars.
"You are here."

Finally, Irony is being a crazy cat. I think having furniture overwhelms her. That is all.

The moment we walked in the door at home on Saturday, I realized I hadn't gotten any pictures of you two or the four of us together. RATS. Next time...

What a sweet surprise to see a photo of my kids- and what a great shot on the lion! Thanks for sharing, Em. Keeping you in my prayers!
